Upper entrance at Hope
What You Can Expect

We welcome you to join us at Hope this Sunday for worship at 10 am. Enter from the upper parking lot (this entrance is pictured at right) for worship and from the lower parking lot for other activities (the lower entrance is pictured on the home page).

All baptized Christians are invited to the Lord's Table. Those who do not receive bread and wine may stand or kneel for the pastor's blessing. You may kneel or stand to receive the bread and wine. Gluten-free wafers and non-alcoholic wine are also available every week. If you wish to have the sacrament brought to you in the pew, please mention this to an usher.

If you would be more comfortable sitting on a cushion during the service, you may pick up a cushion from the bin in the narthex (lobby area) on your way into the sanctuary.

We also invite you to stay for coffee hour after worship, a time of fellowship to meet new friends and greet old ones.

For Visitors with Special Needs

The upstairs entrance and restrooms are handicapped-accessible, and the elevator allows access to the lower level from the upper level. Hope has a wheelchair and a walker available for use. Simply ask an usher for assistance when arriving at Hope.

Logistical Information

On Sunday mornings, the lower entrance will be locked after 10 am, so please use the upper entrance if you arrive late.

We have a bike rack available for use. It is located on the right side of the church, when facing the building from Guilford Drive.

For Parents of Young Churchgoers

Child care is available during worship.

If your child stays with you for the worship service, look for the basket near the back of the sanctuary containing books for our young churchgoers. Please leave the books for others to enjoy. Additionally, soft books and soft toys are available in the seating area of the narthex (lobby area) for babies and toddlers.

We want kids to know that God loves them. So we support kids and families growing in faith together. The second Sunday of each month, we have Sunday School at 9 am for children ages 2-7. Children hear a Bible story, sing songs, play games, do crafts, and have a snack. Families are welcome to stay and participate with their children. If you would like to learn more, or if you have older children who also want to be involved, contact Pastor Julie.
