Location Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1545 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in McLean will present a forum on Public Policy 2012: Partisanship, Polarization, and Paralysis. Three former members of Congress, all members of Redeemer, who have since retired from public service but remain active in the broader conversations, will provide their personal thoughts on the roles and responsibilities for people of faith in today’s politics. Byron Dorgan, a former member of the House and Senate from North Dakota; Dave McCurdy, a former member of the House from Oklahoma; and Steve Gunderson, a former member of the House from Wisconsin will serve as the panel for this discussion hosted and moderated by Pastor Sandra J. Kessinger. The evening’s conversation will seek a better understanding for the state of today’s American politics; while considering the role for people of faith. The three panelists bring both a long history of engagement in government and diverse political viewpoints to the conversation.
