What You Can Expect

Upper entrance at HopeWe welcome you to join us at Hope this Sunday for worship at 9:30 am (June and July; our usual worship time is 10:30). Enter from the upper parking lot (this entrance is pictured at right) for worship and from the lower parking lot for other activities. The lower entrance is shown on the home page.

You can park for free in either the upper lot or the lower lot on Sundays. (You can ignore the signs that apply to parking during the week for people who are not part of the Hope community).

All baptized Christians are invited to the Lord's Table. Communion is available as bread and non-alcoholic wine, and also as professionally pre-packaged individual units containing a wafer and grape juice. A gluten-free option is also available.

If you would be more comfortable sitting on a cushion during the service, you may pick up a cushion from the bin in the narthex (lobby area) on your way into the sanctuary.

We also invite you to stay for a time of fellowship after worship to meet new friends and greet old ones.

For Visitors with Special Needs

The upstairs entrance and restrooms are handicapped-accessible, and the elevator allows access to the lower level from the upper level. Hope has a wheelchair and a walker available for use. Simply ask an usher for assistance when arriving at Hope.

Logistical Information

Feel free to dress in a way that is comfortable for you.

The two restrooms off the narthex are designated as gender-neutral family restrooms.

On Sunday mornings, the lower entrance will be locked after worship begins, so please use the upper entrance if you arrive late.

We have a bike rack available for use. It is located on the right side of the church, when facing the building from Guilford Drive.

For Parents of Young Churchgoers

Child care will be available during worship. All child care providers have passed background checks.

If your child stays with you for the worship service, look for the "Busy Bags" in the narthex (lobby area) before you enter the sanctuary. The bags contain books and small toys to keep children entertained during quieter times during the service. Please return all items into the same bag and place it back on the coat rack when you are finished with the bag. Additionally, soft books and soft toys are available in the seating area of the narthex (lobby area) for babies and toddlers.

We want kids to know that God loves them. So we support kids and families growing in faith together. Visit our Learning page to find out about our children's Sunday School. If you would like to learn more, contact Pastor Julie. This program is currently on pause.
