What You Can Expect
Hope welcomes you to worship together this Sunday at 10:30 am. Enter from the upper parking lot (this entrance is pictured at right) for worship and from the lower parking lot for other activities. The lower entrance is shown on the home page.
You can park for free in either the upper lot or the lower lot on Sundays. (You can ignore the signs that apply to parking during the week for people who are not part of the Hope community).
All baptized Christians are invited to the Lord's Table. Communion is available as bread and non-alcoholic wine, and also as professionally pre-packaged individual units containing a wafer and grape juice. A gluten-free option is also available.
If you would be more comfortable sitting on a cushion during the service, you may pick up a cushion from the bin in the entryway on your way into the sanctuary.
You are welcome to stay for a time of fellowship after worship to meet new friends and greet old ones.
The upstairs entrance and restrooms are handicapped-accessible, and the elevator allows access to the lower level from the upper level. Hope has a wheelchair and a walker available for use. Simply ask an usher for assistance when arriving at Hope.
Feel free to dress in a way that is comfortable for you.
The two restrooms off the upper lobby area are designated as gender-neutral family restrooms.
On Sunday mornings, the lower entrance will be locked after worship begins, so please use the upper entrance if you arrive late.
A bike rack is available for use. It is located on the right side of the church, when facing the building from Guilford Drive.
Child care will be available during worship. All child care providers have passed background checks.
The first Sunday of each month, we offer Lively Worship, designed to engage families with young children (and everyone) in a joyful expression of God's abundant love.
A special area for young children and their parents is available at the front of the sanctuary, on the right side.
If your child stays with you for the worship service, look for the "Busy Bags" in the narthex (lobby area) before you enter the sanctuary. The bags contain books and small toys to keep children entertained during quieter times during the service. Please return all items into the same bag and place it back on the coat rack when you are finished with the bag.
