"A People Uncounted" - Movies@Hope teams up with The Humble Walk to proudly present this riveting documentary from 2011. The film will be introduced by a scholar from the University of Maryland and tells the tale of the Romani people, who are thought to have migrated from northern India to Europe 1500 years ago. Long viewed as unwanted outsiders in Europe and North America, the Romani people suffered genocide under Nazi Germany and continue to exist on the margins of society in Hungary and elsewhere.
