"Iron Jawed Angels" - We celebrate the centennial of the passage of the 19th Amendment with this overlooked gem from 2004 featuring the trial of America's women suffragists, who ultimately won for women the right to vote. Kathleen Pablo of the Turning Point Suffragist Memorial introduces this stirring tale of the struggle for equal rights for women, culminating in the imprisonment of suffragists under appalling conditions in 1917 after their arrest for picketing the White House.
